First step was to start removing old unneccesary parts from the bike. This included handlebar tape + end caps, an old mount for an air pump, brake cables, the remains of a mount for a bike computer, an aloy -chain gaurd- from the front sprocket, and not one but TWO bottle cages.This already shaved close to a pound off the total weight.
