In addition to the brake parts, many other small parts were removed, such as a wheel reflector, rear brake cable guide hanger, toe clips/straps, the fork mount portion of a bike computer, and the front derailluer. I'd estimate that this portion took the weight of the bike down close to another 2 pounds!
